We finished it up today. I just need to weld on tabs for my rigid duallys and cb antenna and paint it all up tomorrow and it'll be set. It fits really closely to the hatch, and we had to bend the bottom main tube to fit the contour of the hatch but I'm really happy with it. Also need to figure out a latch but I'll probably do something simple like a hitch pin.

thanks guys, yea it's a pretty tight fit, a little tighter than I was expecting but I don't think I should have any problem, so long as the latch and spindle stay solid.
