This is something I ran across while searching for suspension design information. There are a number of calculators on this website that are designed for road racing but they can easily be used for IFS off road designs. If nothing more than can be used to help you visually understand how IFS works and doesn't work.

its amazing how solidly fixed off roaders are to a SAS
though the IFS has its limitations per se theres ton of 4 link suspensions out there on race rigs that tackle far worse terrain...enough of my diatribe |
