Wallington Bog n Grog!
Checked out my first bog n grog on sunday. It was a great turn out. Lots of different rigs and builds to check out. I've never gotten into that deep of mud before since I put my lift kit and trail diggers on my ZJ so I didn't account for the fact that I have open front and rear diffs. Got stuck seriously quickly Angry Sad
Oh well. Aussie locker to be put in my front end soon and that should alleviate some of the problem.
Staff was very friendly, although a few of them informed me that I had to leave because I had my dog with me, until I explained that hes a service dog and pointed out his vest.
Anyone else make it there?

Sounds like a good time! It will be a lot better time once that locker is onboard. Loving my ARB's while cutting trails this weekend! Would have been a lot of winching without them. Hope you have it installed in time for the anniversary run. Those woods will be slick if it's rainy and high traffic. Gonna be a great time!

My dad and I were there! We just took my dads work van, I'm headed on a trip this weekend in my xj so I didn't want to get it dirty. I always like wallington though, pretty chaotic out there but still a good time.

I am surprised they would give you a hard time about your dog, allways seemed like a lawless type of event.

Never been to one myself but this is always the impression I have been given. For the sake of the off road community let's hope things are being run like a proper motor sports event.

Wallington is really unorganized, no real rules there and I've went for probably the past 10 years it's always the same. That being said I always have a good time there, I'd just never take my truck out there with the kind of people driving around...

I'm definitely looking forward to the next one. Learned two lessons though. 1.lock the front end. 2.you can get away with bringing bottles of liquor.

I wonder if they straightened it out after the mud truck landed on the Cherokee a few years ago?

I've been to one such similar event at a different venue a few years back. It was a giant drunk fest - the drivers were kept under control and a few were kicked out ... but the patrons were playing drunk demo derby in the parking lot.
