Jeep XJ Roof Rack Build
I'm building a roof rack for Tyler's 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ. It will be really similar to mine with a few subtle differences. You'll just have to wait and see how it turns out.
Just like the last build this will be made out of 1"x16 gauge welded seem tubing. It will have an expanded steel floor and dimple died side panels. Here is the latest photo. I have the floor completely framed and tacked together. Next I will build the top hoop and the riser tubes. If all goes smoothly I should have this wrapped up by the end of this coming weekend. Test fitting and mock-up for the mounts. Still need to add the side panels and the top bar isn't welded into place yet. Fit's really nice though. Compliments the body lines really well.
