Think it's time as a roadgoing Jeep is over.

Time for more extreme modification opportunities!

I had to replace an oxygen sensor. The clip broke and the wiring got caught in the driveshaft.

It now has no oxygen sensors or oxygen sensor heaters Sad Runs very poorly when it hits operating temperature and is due for inspection next month.

The harness ripped as far as I can tell.

Had to do a bit of patching and splicing last night along with replacing a few fuses and relays. Not sure what happened ... but I am not going to do that again!

Runs again, no CEL and all monitors are back up.

Oh, and it has 4 oxygen sensors!!

Back to having a 4 link!

FWIW, "direct factory replacement" doesn't always mean that. If I didn't trim the rubicon express mount, I'd have a hole in the oil pan

Dented the hatch this weekend. Kinda bummed. Was trying to adjust it and it popped off the hinge and crushed my hand and to get my hand out I had to pull hard and bend it. But it doesn't rattle any more! Turns out the last time I adjusted it I forgot to tighten the striker plate.

Also, after the highway cleanup at Scott's, I had to run Andy back to his Jeep to lay it to rest. Coming back across the pond, the Jeep sunk and I lost one of the LED pods in the bumper.

I bought some new ones and mounted them a bit higher to the fairlead. What's nice is now they are actually adjustable.

The hardest part was the 10 year old nicad drill batteries that seemed to like to die after 30 seconds. I'm hoping this is high enough that I won't kill these ones.

Then I took the one remaining bumper light and drilled/mounted it to the bumper. Used some t-taps to run it directly off the factory reverse bulb. The 3157 bulbs draw 8W a piece, so I figured if I pulled the bulb and used just the 18W led on that side it wouldn't be too much of an issue. Gotta say, even in the parking lot where I live, having a spotlight for reverse is awesome.

Kept having problems with the front right footwell filling with water. I assumed it was the windshield or the roof that was leaking. Turns out it was coming in from the RR quarter under where the plastic bumper cover used to be. It was coming in there, running all the way to the front the draining.

So did the cut and fold on both sides

I had to pressure wash it after twisted trails (pulling around a certain yellow Jeep) and no water intrusion!

Looks good Mike, that was part of the reason I did the cut and fold on mine too.

How did you handle the left side cut and fold? Had a real hard time since there's the extra bracing for the fuel filler.

I don't remember the left side being much harder than the right, with the exception of the Gas line cover. That was a pain in the ass to cut and rework but it ended up turning out pretty good. I followed this thread pretty closely during the whole process.
