I'm seriously thinking of running R1 tractor tires in the 40-42 range. We will see, maybe 42 SXII

Probably find some worn out 42s and re-groove the hell out of them. Not sure how the tractor tires would work, but any soft dirt or mud and I imagine they would rip through it pretty good!

I'm not sure how they will work either, but I'm seeing more and more of them out there on trail rigs that run similar terrain to ours.

   

   

Even more so on competition vehicles like Mountain Havoc, and Southern Rock Racing.





I think it will all boil down to what is available cheap when the time comes. Its going to be a long term project. I'm trying to be patient, and wait for deals on good used parts to keep the cost low.

I think they would be fine, possibly a little unpredictable due to the size of the tread gap on rocks.

Any thoughts on rear steer? That's something I have always wanted on a buggy.
